“Hilary’s house is absolutely delightful. I found it exactly as it was described, which is refreshing; sometimes one can be disappointed, finding the actual space does not correspond to the claims about it. Apart from the beautiful furnishings, the house has great wi-fi, good showers, quality bed linen and all the mod cons. The location is also very convenient, being so close to all the shops but yet quiet, as advertised. It was very easy to check in and out, and Hilary and Tim were instantaneous is solving a small problem that presented itself, proving to be entirely dependable. If I am every in Dorset again, I will certainly return.“ The Munroe Family
“Eight of us stayed at Hilary’s place for a relaxing weekend in October. The location was perfect – seconds away from local shops and pubs. It was also very close to the local countryside and a selection of villages beyond. We went for a short stroll locally and then spent a lovely afternoon at a local pub recommended to us by Hilary. Hilary herself was the perfect host. She sent us detailed instructions about arriving, was available for us via phone in case we needed her, and answered all questions quickly. A small selection of treats greeted us on arrival – which was very welcome after a long drive. The house was perfect and we made great use of the wood burning stove. The kitchen was well stocked and there was enough room for all eight of us to eat together at the dining room table. Hilary has a beautiful house in a wonderful location and we will definitely be looking into coming back.” Sophie from London

“My husband and I …… only really have positive things to say. We thought that everything seemed really high quality and amazingly comfortable. All the boys loved the Sonos speaker, the towels were lovely and fluffy, the beds really comfy, the hot water always hot, the Wi-Fi was good even with 8 users and the kitchen had everything we needed. It was brilliant to have the stair gates and all the toys and games for the kids went down really well too. “A simply gorgeous home in the wonderful historic location of Blandford. So many things to see and do. A real gem! The home is decorated to the highest standard and is super comfy. “We have all really enjoyed our stay here. The house is beautifully furnished and a joy to live in. We also used the garden a lot as our children enjoyed ‘breakfast picnics’ in it. There is lots to do locally with our little ones and the house is also well equipped with toys. A really, really delightful stay in a beautiful house in a quaint English town!”

“Your house is just beautiful – you must be so proud of it. It was the perfect place for a family lunch. We had cousins and aunts ranging in age from 5 to 86 and it worked brilliantly for all of them. We did trips to Abbotsbury, Brownsea Island and Wimbourne model village. We also walked the trail to Stourpaine, had lunch at the pub and visited some of the local artists exhibiting in Dorset art weeks. I also loved the Fashion Museum so much I went back twice!” The Main family
