Coffee Machine

The coffee machine is suited for Nespresso capsules and a number of these will have been left both in the welcome pack and in the jar on the shelf above the sink.

The coffee machine can be turned on by the black button at the back of the top of the machine. The two coffee cup buttons in front of it will then start flashing.  Once these glow continuously the machine is ready to make coffee.

Check that there is water in the tank at the rear (simply lift the lid to remove the tank from the machine and fill it) then lift the silver handle so that it points straight up.  A coffee capsule can then be inserted in the hole.  Close the handle, place a cup under the dispenser and press either the large coffee or small coffee button.

For more comprehensive information, see the manual here.

Aeroccino

The aeroccino can be used to make hot or cold frothed milk.

To use it, check that power is on both at the mains and the base unit.  Place the frother into the machine; it is stored in the lid and goes over the ‘button’ inside the aeroccino.  Fill the aeroccino with milk but make sure you only fill to the correct line; The lower line is the limit if you are using the frother with the whisk attachment. Press the button on the front briefly to make warm milk (the button will be red whilst making your milk) and hold the button for more than 2 seconds for cold milk (when the button will glow blue).

Once complete, the button will no longer be lit.  Pour and enjoy!

Please do clean the aeroccino once used as warm milk can stick to the base.  The aeroccino can be cleaned with a cloth and soapy water but please don’t use the dishwasher to clean it as this will break the aeroccino machine.
