Longleat

Nestled in 900 acres of Capability Brown landscaped gardens, is Longleat Safari and Adventure Park. A trip to the UK’s first safari park is a fantastic day out for the whole family where you can stand tall with giraffes, walk with the wallabies and lemurs or take a safari in your car as you get up close to the world’s fastest mammal, the cheetah, and admire the lions and tigers. Alongside the big cats at Longleat Safari, you’ll also find some other deadly creatures – the grey wolves. Feed the deer from your car and watch as the cheeky macaque monkeys climb aboard, and no safari is complete without spotting Anne the Elephant!

There’s not just the animals to enjoy at Longleat; you’ll be taken aback by the impressive Longleat House, where you can step back through over 450 years of history.  Little ones will love playing in the adventure castle, Little Explorer’s Garden and the Rockin’ Rhino ride, and the whole family can get competitive in the hedge maze – who will complete it first? With nearly 2 miles of paths, some leading to dead ends, it’s not as easy as it looks!

Longleat is a 1 hour drive from Old Red Lion House.
