Blandford Museum houses and displays artefacts from Prehistoric times to the present day, sourced from Blandford Forum and the surrounding villages.
The museum hosts a model of the former Blandford Forum Railway Station alongside which is an interactive layout featuring ‘Thomas and Henry’ for children to play with.
The museum shop contains not just souvenirs of your visit to the museum but also local crafts and produce. Alex, their bee man sells delicious honey and hand-cream; the museum garden club members produce home made jams and chutneys and there are always plants for sale at very reasonable prices.
